Crisis Line & Safe House to Host Candlelight Vigils in Recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month

The vigils serve as a poignant reminder of the lives lost to domestic violence while offering hope and support to those who have survived and continue to heal. Community members are invited to attend these events and encouraged to bring friends and family members to show their commitment to ending domestic violence and collective support for victims, survivors, and their families.

Speakers Include: The Honorable Stephen Bradley, Jones County Superior Court, and The Honorable Lewis Patterson, Chief Magistrate Judge of Jones County
Jamie Bormann, Executive Director of Crisis Line & Safe House, emphasized the significance of these vigils stating, "Domestic violence touches every community, and through these events, we not only honor those who have been affected but also rally together to show that there is a path forward, and that support is available. We invite everyone to join us in this stand against violence."
