Middle Georgia State University Launches New Internship Program

Middle Georgia State University (MGA) has introduced KNIGHTS@WORK, a new internship program that allows students to receive official recognition for non-credit internships through the university’s career development program. The program aims to prepare a professional workforce for Middle Georgia and beyond. 

Internship Posting Deadlines:

  • August 1: Fall Opportunities

  • November 1: Spring Opportunities

  • March 1: Summer Opportunities

MGA Undergraduate and Graduate Program Areas:

  • Business Administration

  • IT & Computer Science

  • Biology & Healthcare

  • Communications/Writing/Design

  • Behavioral Sciences

  • Government & Law

  • Math & Pre-Engineering

  • Aviation Management

The program seeks internships that align with students' academic and career goals, last at least 80 hours over 8 or more weeks, and can be conducted in-person or virtually. Internships must be supervised by a professional in the related field and be located throughout Middle Georgia.
