Get ready to roll through Macon's streets with the return of Macon Bike Party! This free, community-focused bike ride series, hosted by Bike Walk Macon, takes place every second Thursday from September to December and March to June. The rides offer a fun and welcoming way for people of all ages and skill levels to explore the city from a unique perspective. 

Join us for the Summer Send-Off Social on Thursday, September 12th! As we wave goodbye to summer and welcome the cooler days ahead, riders are encouraged to wear their favorite Hawaiian shirts for a festive farewell to the heat. This ride will be led by our first official ride Party Marshal, Erin Keller, who will keep the energy high. This slow roll will start at the Bike Walk Macon office at 830 High Street, with registration beginning at 6:00 PM. We'll set off at 6:15 PM for a leisurely tour through downtown Macon, concluding the ride at our new official after-party spot, The Rose Room.  

New this season:

• Registration begins at 6:00 PM with take off at 6:15 PM.

• Introducing Party Marshals - let us know if you’re interested in being a slow roll hype man!

• The Rose Room (378 2nd Street) is our new official after-party spot, where riders can relax, socialize, and enjoy a 10% discount on their tabs. Each of our fall rides will end here, so be sure to stick around and connect with fellow bicyclists!

As always, participants can join or leave the ride at any point. Bike Walk Macon will give away free bike lights, snacks, and water to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience. Let’s come together, celebrate our community, and enjoy the freedom and fun of bicycling.

• October 10 - Bikes + Frights: Get in the Halloween spirit with a spooky bike tour of haunted Macon locations. Costumes are encouraged!

• November 14 - Cranksgiving with Bike Tech: Combine bicycling with giving back in this special ride where we’ll collect food donations for the Middle Georgia Food Bank.

• December 12 - Santa Cycle: Come dressed as Santa to spread holiday cheer on this festive ride through Macon’s Christmas Lights.
