CGTC Women's Soccer Earns First Victory Against Wesleyan College, Men Fall to Trinity Baptist in Saturday Matches

Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Women’s Soccer (1-0, 0-0) achieved a first this weekend with a 6–0 win over the Wesleyan College Wolves, on Saturday, August 24. The win is a regular season non-conference victory. The program's first win comes during the inaugural season for both the men's and women's soccer teams.  The historic first goal came just 8 minutes into the first half, when forward Rosacecilia Lopez Sanchez (No. 13) found the bottom left corner of the net with an assist from forward Dani Mincey (No. 7).
