Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) will host a press conference and ribbon-cutting on August 8 at 5 p.m., at the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame to celebrate its inaugural seasons of Football and Men’s and Women’s Soccer and commemorate the College’s undefeated 2023 National Club Football Championship (NCFA) season.  

The Georgia Sports Hall of Fame will add the Championship trophy to its college athletics exhibit. Supporters of Titans athletics are invited to attend the event and celebrate alongside the College and its athletes.  

“History is being made in athletics at CGTC,” said Cathy Johnson, executive director for Athletics and Compliance at CGTC. “We are gracious to the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame for providing us a space in their exhibit to honor the accomplishments of those championship athletes and giving us space to look ahead into a new chapter of history for football, and soccer.”
