Warner Robins’ Zach Giddens is Vice Chair of Leadership GBA Board of Directors

Zachary H. Giddens, commercial banker and senior vice president at Morris Bank in Warner Robins, has been elected by his peers in the state as vice chair of the Leadership GBA Board of Directors.

Leadership GBA supports the advancement of career bankers by providing leadership development training, serving as a forum through which career bankers can network and exchange ideas and promoting industry advocacy activities at the local, state and federal levels.

We eagerly anticipate the insights, wisdom, and experience he'll bring to the role,” said GBA Chairman Brad Barber, president and CEO of First National Bank, Bainbridge.

Giddens received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from University of West Alabama in 2006. He earned an MBA from Mercer University in 2016 and graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University in 2019. He is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).

Giddens began his banking career as a credit analyst at Security Bank of Houston County from 2006 to 2009. He worked as a credit analyst, portfolio manager and business banker at State Bank & Trust from 2009 to 2015. He has been at Morris Bank since 2015 as a commercial banker and senior vice president.

Active in the Houston County community, Giddens is a member of the International City Optimist Club in Warner Robins and the Central Georgia Technical College Foundation Board of Trustees. He and his family attend Perry United Methodist Church.
