Mayor Lester Miller Exploring Idea of Running for Governor

Macon-Bibb Mayor Lester Miller is considering a run for governor in 2026. He floated the idea around on Facebook earlier this month by asking people what they think.
We spoke with the mayor on Wednesday about his potential run. He told 41NBC he’s considering putting his name in the hat but that he expects Macon to see continued growth and lower taxes over the next four years.
