Houston Healthcare Family Medicine Residency Program Welcomes New Residents

Houston Healthcare welcomed six new resident physicians to its Family Medicine Residency Program during their annual White Coat Ceremony on Tuesday, July 2.
Residents in the Class of 2027 come from countries around the globe including Gambia, Guyana, India and the United States.
New residents include:
• Oneidge Anthony, MD - Dr. Anthony graduated from the University of Health Sciences in Antigua.

Jismaria Antony, MD - Dr. Antony is a graduate of Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi, India.

Ahmed Awad, MD - Dr. Awad graduated from Washington University of Health and Science in Belize.

Fleurette Chong, MD – Dr. Chong is a graduate of Trinity School of Medicine in St. Vincent and Grenadines.

Neamul Huq, MD – Dr. Huq graduated from Washington University of Health and Science in Belize.

Manju Tambajang, MD – Dr. Tambajang graduated from Caribbean Medical University in Willemstad, Curaçao.
Houston Healthcare’s three-year family residency program is coordinated through the Pavilion Family Medicine Center located inside the Roy H. “Sonny” Watson Health Pavilion in Warner Robins. The program benefits the community by including access to care for patients, providing clinical training and practical skills learning for the Residents, and affording enhanced, coordinated care with the local teaching facility of Houston Healthcare – Warner Robins.
