On Tuesday, July 2, 2024, the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department will hold a Graduation Ceremony for 15 new recruits. The ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m. at Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Building H -Auditorium (3300 Macon Tech Drive). It will be live-streamed on the Macon-Bibb Fire Department Facebook page.
The graduation ceremony will feature a presentation of colors, National Anthem, invocation, and multiple speakers. Each Firefighter will take the oath of office and be sworn in by Fire Chief Edwards.
“We are excited to announce the next outstanding group of fire recruits who will be serving our community with the utmost dignity, pride, and dedication,” says Fire Chief Shane Edwards.
