Perry Residents Mark the Start of Dogwood Festival Celebrations

Residents gathered in historic downtown Perry, to plant their official Dogwood Tree on Thursday, marking the beginning of the Dogwood Festival celebrations. This year marks the 35th anniversary of the festival, which has become a much-anticipated spring event for the city.
In addition to celebrating the Dogwood Festival, the city is also commemorating its 200th year.
