Wesleyan College takes pride in its extensive outreach abroad; it is especially proud of its continual commitment to recruiting outstanding students from India
The college's progress in relationship building in India could not be done without the exceptional work of Associate Vice President of International Admissions and Strategic Advisor to the President Anjali Seth.
On Tuesday, Feb. 27, Seth's outstanding efforts were recognized as a Woman Achiever in the field of Education at an event commemorating the International Women’s Day, organized by the Ministry of Defense at the direction of the Government of India.
Recognized as one of just 10 women and 5 female officers from the entire Indian Air Force; a feat which designated with Seth's background in defense services.
In addition to her recognition, Seth was presented with the opportunity to meet and photograph with Indian President Droupadi Murmu.
"It was such a wonderful experience meeting so many women from the services who have contributed in their own special ways," Anand Seth said.
The college is extremely proud of Seth for being a shining example of the spirit of Wesleyan and is eager to see the heights she will continue to soar to.
