Former Bibb Schools President Dr. Juawn Jackson Launches Georgia State House Campaign

Today, Former Bibb County School Board President Dr. Juawn Jackson has announced his candidacy for the newly redrawn House District 145.
Dr. Jackson was elected at the age of 26 as the youngest ever to serve on the Bibb County Board of Education and has been a leader in our community for his entire life. The Westside High School graduate has served as the Chair of the E-SPLOST Advisory Committee, Middle Georgia Regional Commission, Macon-Bibb Healthcare and Retirement Benefits Committee, and Macon-Bibb’s Judicial Review Board.
“I am excited to announce my intent to qualify for the newly redrawn House District 145 seat representing portions of Macon-Bibb and Monroe Counties,” said Dr. Juawn Jackson, “I am running on a platform of unwavering integrity and genuine leadership – it’s what our district, our state, and our country deserve in a time such as this.”
Dr. Jackson is ready to bring firm and effective leadership to the district, seeking to bring unity and real solutions for all Georgia residents, families, and businesses.
“It is my mission to advocate for a new, inclusive leadership in Georgia, uniting all citizens beyond race, gender, and politics to make Georgia a model state in the South. My vision is to foster unity and shared progress, elevating Georgia together,” said Dr. Jackson.
A campaign launch event featuring Andre Jones, also known as “AJ the DJ,” will occur at Emerson on Plum on February 12th, 2024, from 6 pm to 9 pm. The entire community is invited to attend.
