Street Dedication for Band Director & Teacher, Robert L. Scott, Jr.

On Thursday, December 7, 2023, Macon-Bibb County will host a street dedication ceremony in honor of Robert Louis Scott, Jr. The unveiling ceremony will take place on the front lawn of Ballard-Hudson Middle School (1070 Anthony Road) at 10:00 a.m. It will be live streamed on www.Facebook.com/MaconBibbCounty.
Scott, Jr. was a band director at the former Ballard-Hudson High School and teacher at several different Bibb County schools. The portion of Anthony Road from Pio Nono Avenue to Felton Avenue will be dedicated in honor of him for his significant achievements and service to the community.
