Macon’s Cherry Blossom Festival Wins 25 Awards, 41NBC Celebrated for ‘Best Parade’

Macon’s Cherry Blossom Festival was honored with 25 awards at the IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards Ceremony in October, including one for 41NBC for its broadcast of the Cherry Blossom Festival Parade.
The International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) celebrated the 2023 Cherry Blossom Festival at the 66th Annual IFEA Convention, Expo & Retreat in McAllen, Texas. Under the guidance of President and CEO Stacy Moore, along with the Board of Directors, the festival achieved recognition for its diverse programming, innovative merchandise and dynamic social media campaigns.
