Martha Bowman United Methodist Church will host the eighth annual “Food Truck Fest @ MB” event this Sunday, November 5^th, from noon to 6PM on the church grounds. Onsite will be nine different food trucks from across the state, offering a delicious variety of fare, savory and sweet options, with everything from fresh-made birria tacos to lobster rolls to decadent funnel cakes. There will be games and activities for kids and families, including a mobile gaming truck, bouncy houses, and other annual (free) Fall family fun. We will also have a pop-up fashion boutique on site for visitors to stop-in and shop, and live music will be provided by “Martha & Sons” band. All participating food trucks have made a donation to support our ministry partner, Cross Roads Recovery, a program whose mission is to come alongside men who have completed sobriety programs to help them walk out recovery in the real world. Food Truck Fest attendees are also welcomed and encouraged to bring a donation of cleaning supplies or toiletries to support the Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia, and to attend either of our 11AM services, traditional or contemporary, and to stick around afterward for great food, wonderful fellowship, and family fun.
