Loosier Furniture Express Bids Farewell After 85 Years, 58 in Macon

Loosier Furniture Express, a Georgia staple for 85 years, announced Tuesday it is closing its doors and will start a total liquidation sale this week. The family-owned furniture store has operated in Macon for 58 years.
The company made the announcement in a news release. A staff member confirmed the closure by phone.
