Entrepreneurs Thrive Here: Macon Black Tech Celebrates Global Entrepreneurship Week in Macon-Bibb

Monday, November 13th, 2023

]Macon Black Tech will mark Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) on November 13-19 by hosting GEW 2023: Ecosystem Saging on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 6:00 PM at the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce. The theme for #GEW2023 is "Entrepreneurs Thrive Here”, with more than 1,000 activities planned across the country to fully display the nation's entrepreneurial and innovative spirit.

We invite our community of entrepreneurs, business leaders, mentors, and visionaries to share their stories, insights, and sage advice. It's an opportunity to engage with those who've weathered the storms, navigated uncharted territory, and found the secret sauce to entrepreneurial success.

The Global Entrepreneurship Week movement celebrates and empowers entrepreneurs in every country and community around the world – especially those who face structural barriers or who may have never considered the opportunities and possibilities of entrepreneurship.

Each November, 10 million people take part in tens of thousands of activities, competitions, and events that inspire them to act and provide them with the knowledge, experience, and connections they need to succeed. GEW is an international movement, organized by the Global Entrepreneurship Network and powered by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation with support from strategic partners.

We are excited for Macon-Bibb to be part of this event and join this international conversation.  We were first introduced to the Global Entrepreneurship Network this year by attending the Global Entrepreneurship Congress as an ambassador in Melbourne Australia where 2,500 individuals from 250 countries including policymakers, entrepreneurs, entrepreneur support organizations, and funders gathered to navigate pain points familiar to entrepreneurs on a global scale. When you bring people from different cultures, and experiences, together the energy sparks innovative ideas said Christele Parham co-founder of Macon Black Tech.

We are looking forward to seeing you next week. Registration is required. To join us, register here. To view a complete list of events and participating organizations, or to learn more about Global Entrepreneurship Week, visit www.GEWUSA.CO. Join the conversation online using #GEW2023.
