Entrepreneurs Thrive Here: Macon Black Tech Celebrates Global Entrepreneurship Week in Macon-Bibb
Monday, November 13th, 2023
The Global Entrepreneurship Week movement celebrates and empowers entrepreneurs in every country and community around the world – especially those who face structural barriers or who may have never considered the opportunities and possibilities of entrepreneurship.
Each November, 10 million people take part in tens of thousands of activities, competitions, and events that inspire them to act and provide them with the knowledge, experience, and connections they need to succeed. GEW is an international movement, organized by the Global Entrepreneurship Network and powered by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation with support from strategic partners.
We are excited for Macon-Bibb to be part of this event and join this international conversation. We were first introduced to the Global Entrepreneurship Network this year by attending the Global Entrepreneurship Congress as an ambassador in Melbourne Australia where 2,500 individuals from 250 countries including policymakers, entrepreneurs, entrepreneur support organizations, and funders gathered to navigate pain points familiar to entrepreneurs on a global scale. When you bring people from different cultures, and experiences, together the energy sparks innovative ideas said Christele Parham co-founder of Macon Black Tech.
