Welcome to Cities Connect, where we discuss issues that matter. To date, the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) has provided $5.5 billion in low-interest loans to cities, counties, and infrastructure authorities for improvements to water, wastewater, and solid waste systems.In this episodes, GEFA Executive Director, Hunter Hill, leads a discussion focused on two GEFA funding programs that are available to assist cities. Following remarks from Executive Director Hill, Leah Lord with GEFA discusses the Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant Program and then Lisa Golphin of the GEFA staff presents information on the Lead Service Line Replacement Program.
