Wesleyan College Listed as No. 3 Regional College in the South by U.S. News and World Report

Wesleyan College’s continued commitment to the advancement of women and the liberal arts have received national recognition.

In its annual rankings of Best Colleges, the U.S. News and World Report featured a slew of institutions across the country; listing Wesleyan College as the No. 3 Regional College in the South.

The composite ranking is determined by an examination of each college’s graduation rates, first-year retention rates, borrower debt, peer assessment scores, standard sized tests among other factors. 

"As the first college in the world chartered to grant degrees to women, we are honored to receive this ranking," said Meaghan Blight, President of Wesleyan College. "We are steadfast in our commitment to accelerate equality for women around the world and know we can achieve this by educating talented, young leaders who are going to move the needle on gender parity."
