Macon Little Theatre (MLT) is coming in with that good ol’ razzle dazzle, celebrating its 90th anniversary season kickoff with Chicago. The six-time Tony Award, two-time Olivier Award, and Grammy Award-winning musical takes center stage this Friday. This jazzy upbeat musical, chock full of swanky dancing and vocal gymnastics will leave you asking, “Yeah, but did she do it?”

In the roaring '20s, Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband to take the rap...until he finds out he's been duped.  On death row, Roxie and Velma Kelly vie for the spotlight.  This sharp-edged satire sparked immortal staging by Bob Fosse.

The featured show opens on Friday, September 8, and runs through Sunday, September 17. 

A special press only preview is available this Thursday, September 7, at 8 p.m. The Macon Little Theatre artistic director and board members will be available for interviews. Please note that photography and videography of the actual live stage performance will not be allowed due to copyright. All other necessary photography is permitted, including the pre-show rehearsal.

Performances begin September 8th, and run through September 17th.  Tickets are available in our box office any Tuesday or Thursday from 3:00-5:30 pm, or online right now. Performances are 9/8, 9/9, 9/10, 9/14, 9/15, 9/16, and 9/17. Sundays at 2:30pm, all other performances at 8:00pm. Front doors and day of ticket sales open 1 hour prior to show time.
