Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia, Inc. (GIMG) is holding its Fall 2023 Career Fair at Anderson Conference Center (5171 Eisenhower Parkway in Macon) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on September 21. The in-person event is open to job seekers and employers in our community and will host numerous corporate, government, and nonprofit agencies to promote their seasonal jobs, internships, and career opportunities in a variety of fields.

Employers and community resources scheduled to be on-site include Atrium Health Navicent, Clean Control Corp., Coca-Cola United, Elite Environmental Services, Georgia Dept. of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities, Gilmer Warehouse and Logistics, Houston Healthcare, Macon-Bibb County Fire Department, Pactiv Evergreen, Waffle House, as well as career and education services through Goodwill, Job Connection, and Helms College.

“Our Career Fair is not just an event; it's a testament to how Goodwill actively supports our community members throughout their entire career development journey, from education to staffing services,” said Leah Pontani, senior vice president of career development. “We’re not only creating an opportunity for employers to connect with job seekers; we are empowering individuals in building brighter futures both for themselves and the Macon community.”

In the last five years, GIMG served more than 79,000 people, placed 31,000+ people into competitive employment, and had a $11.6 million positive economic impact on the 35 Georgia and South Carolina counties it serves.
