Opportunity for Community to have Input on Linear Park

Thursday, August 24th, 2023

Macon-Bibb County and the Pleasant Hill Neighborhood Organization are teaming up to give people an opportunity to be part of how to make Linear Park a better space. People can come out to the park (401 Monroe Street) on Wednesday, August 23, between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m.

“We want to give everyone an opportunity to be part of the conversation,” says Tedra Huston with the Pleasant Hill Neighborhood Organization. “This park is meant for everyone in our community to enjoy, and we want to make sure their suggestions are heard.”

This is a family-friendly event with activities, treats, and a raffle for everyone. If you can’t make it, there will be another opportunity to share your ideas for the park at the next Pleasant Hill Neighborhood Organization on Saturday, September 9, at 2:00 p.m. at the L.H. Williams Community Center (325 Pursley Street). You can also stop by the Booker T. Washington Community Center (401 Monroe Street)before September 9. The input is vital and is part of the Macon Action Plan.

If you have any questions, email Tedra Huston at [email protected].
