“Aviation Day Festival and Fly-in” Event Set for Saturday, August 19th

Middle Georgia State University is sponsoring the “Aviation Day Festival and Fly-in” event onSaturday, August 19 from 10 am - 4 pm. The event will take place at the Heart of Georgia Regional Airport in Eastman (71 Airport Rd., Eastman, GA 31023).
The event is FREE and open to the public and will be filled with food vendors, static displays, car shows, fly-in traffic, and educational displays. There will surely be something for everyone.
This event is in celebration of National Aviation Day and will promote aviation to students and the local communities. This is a collaborative event between the City of Eastman, The Airport Authority, The Chamber of Commerce, and MGA.
