Fanboy Comics & Collectables will host the Middle Georgia Comic Convention on July 15, 2023, from 10 AM - 4 PM. The convention will take place at Anderson Conference Center and is considered the largest toy and comic convention in the middle Georgia area. Special guests with a wide range of backgrounds involved in pop culture will also be speaking at the event.

This year’s featured guests include; Theodore "Teddy" Long, an American former professional referee and manager; Ron Simmons, an American retired professional football player and professional wrestler; Alyson Leigh Rosenfeld, a voice actor best known for her roles as Bonnie, Nurse Joy & Sophocles on Pokémon; Dan Fraga, a comic book artist, storyboard artist, concept artist, and animation and film director; Nancy A. Collins, an American horror fiction writer best known for her series of vampire novels; Jennifer Cihi, a singer known for the iconic anime character, Sailor Moon.

Additionally, nearly 40 vendors and artists will set up booths offering various goods, from custom game pieces to rare comic collectibles. Guests are encouraged to cosplay as their favorite character. There will also be a raffle with door prizes in-person at the convention. 

Adult admission is seven dollars while kids 12 and under are free. Tickets can be bought in advance or at the door. Additional prices vary for autograph and picture packages.
