The Center offers a portfolio of customized corporate and open-enrollment certificate programs developed by the most forward-thinking minds in academia and industry.
“As we have done in previous years, for the second half of 2023 we are once again providing access to a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt program,” said Jeff Wolfe, director of the Center for Executive Education. “Also scheduled for the second half of 2023 is our second offering of the virtual Leadership Accelerator certification series for emerging leaders and the Conflict Resolution program.”

No prior training or knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or statistics is required to take this course.

Uniquely designed to expose leaders to crucial business knowledge and toolkits, participants gain a holistic perspective through a three-tiered certification focus on micro (individual-level), meso (team-level) and macro (organizational-level) environments. Dates for the upcoming 10-session Micro and Meso Leadership Series are Aug. 15, Aug. 29, Sept. 12, Sept. 26, Oct. 10, Oct. 24, Nov. 7, Nov. 21, Dec. 5 and Dec. 19. Each session is 2 ½ hours.

“This program has been requested by you, and we are pleased to be able to provide a full range of continuing education in the areas of quality process improvement and leadership,” Wolfe said.
Virtual Conflict Resolution Certification

Also included in the certificate program are eight, one-hour recorded sessions to be completed prior to each live virtual session
“Conflict is a part of our everyday life. We can’t escape it, but we can learn how to manage it better at work and at home,” Wolfe said. “Our Conflict Resolution certificate program can be applied to all situations, allowing participants to address conflict sooner before it gets too far out of hand.”
Registration is available now at a cost of $750 per person for the whole program or $175 per person for one module. Special pricing is available for Mercer faculty, staff and students.
The program will be led by Terrie R. McCants, who created undergraduate and graduate certificates in conflict resolution and co-created the minor in conflict analysis and trauma studies at Kansas State University.
