Friday, May 19th, 2023
On Friday, May 19, Macon Mental Health Matters (MMHM) will hold its second session of the Lunch & Learn series. This session, focused on men’s mental health, will be held at Just Tap’d (488 1st Street) from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m.
This session is free and open to everyone, with lunch provided. It will also be live streamed on MMHM’s Facebook page.
“This is dedicated to empowering men to prioritize their mental health and well-being,” says MMHM Coordinator Andrea Cooke. “Our event is designed to provide you with valuable insights and information on what it means to be mentally healthy, how therapy can be beneficial, and dispel stigmas about therapy.”
Led by experienced mental health professionals, this session will explore various topics related to men's mental health, including stress management, relationship challenges, work-life balance, and self-care. People will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in meaningful discussions with experts and other attendees. Click here to RSVP.
The next and last Lunch & Learn this month will be held on Friday, May 26 at Just Tap’d and will focus on Relationships and Mental Wellness.
