Macon Habitat Hosting Two Home Dedications

Macon Area Habitat for Humanity will celebrate the dedication of four new homes over the next two weeks. 

MAHFH will celebrate the dedication of three new homes this Thursday, May 11th at 10:30 am at 564 Carmen Place, located in Lynmore Estates. These new homes highlight the success of Macon Habitat’s partnerships with Macon-Bibb County Economic and Community Development Department’s HOME program. On this day, Macon Habitat and the community will join together with the new homeowners, the Harris, McColumn and Waller families, to dedicate the home and thank the many partners that helped with construction. All are welcome to join Macon Habitat to witness the heart of our work and congratulate the soon-to-be homeowners!

MAHFH will celebrate the dedication of a new house at 541 Shi Place, located in Lynmore Estates, Monday, May 15th at 9:00 am. This new home highlights the success of Macon Habitat’s partnerships with the Bibb County School System’s Youth Build program. Macon Habitat and the community will join together with the new homeowners, the Johnson family and thank the many partners that helped with construction.

Building a Habitat home is not possible without the hard work and dedication of our future Habitat homeowners and community partners. These homes were built with love and in collaboration with the following generous partners including 2023 Women Build Teams, Cox Communications, Georgia Power, Sheridan Construction, Terracon Company, Springdale Elementary School, Texas Roadhouse, Robins Financial Credit Union, Northway Church, Georgia Farm Bureau, Capital City Bank, and Powerful Women Who Build sponsored by Georgia Power, the UGA County Extension Office Master’s Gardener program and many more.
