13th Annual BEAR Day to Showcase Research, Special Projects in Macon

Mercer University will hold its 13th annual Breakthroughs in Engagement, Arts and Research (BEAR) Day on April 20-21 to showcase outstanding student research and special projects from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, School of Business, College of Education, School of Music, College of Health Professions and School of Engineering.
BEAR Day will feature more than 250 poster and oral presentations and artist exhibits including contributions from more than 300 students.
Festivities will begin with poster presentations on April 20, 4-6 p.m., in the University Center, followed by oral presentations on April 21, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at locations across the Macon campus. Lunch, featuring live music, will take place from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on the Historic Quad.
BEAR Day will conclude with an art and design senior exhibition 5-8 p.m. April 21 at the McEachern Art Center in downtown Macon.
