Mercer Law School is a host for the Mayflower Compact Exhibit, a traveling exhibit from the American Bar Association (ABA) Standing Committee on the Law Library of Congress.

The ABA’s Standing Committee on the Law Library of Congress will mark the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower Compact with a new traveling exhibit, Join In! The Rise of Self-Governance and American Organizing from the Mayflower Compact to the Modern Day.

Beginning with the Mayflower Compact and transitioning to the exploration of American voluntary associations and civil societies, the exhibit features content and commentary from the Law Library of Congress’s collections. The exhibit will be shown at venues across the United States, and Mercer Law will host the first exhibit in Georgia.

The exhibit will be open daily from February 27 – March 3, from 10 am – 4 pm at the Furman Smith Law Library at Mercer Law School, located at 1021 Georgia Avenue. An open house will be held at the Law Library on Monday, February 27 from 3 – 5 pm.
