Subaru Announces Depaul USA’s Macon Daybreak as the Local Share the Love Campaign Partner

Subaru of Macon announced today its Share the Love local partner, Depaul USA’s Macon project Daybreak.  

The “hometown charity” program, created in 2013, allows each retailer to select a local charity within their community to be added to the list of organizations that customers can select to receive a donation.

Subaru of Macon has selected Depaul USA’s Daybreak as the Share the Love hometown charity because of its supportive work with people who are homeless. During the Share the Love Event, which runs from November 17, 2022, through January 3, 2023, Subaru will donate $250 for each new Subaru vehicle bought or leased.  Each customer can choose Daybreak or any of the following charities; ASPCA, Make-A-Wish, Meals on Wheels America or The National Park Foundation.

Daybreak is celebrating 10 years of serving as  a day resource center in Macon for people who are homeless or impoverished.  Over the years Daybreak has served over 10,000 people and assisting almost  500 obatins housing and 600 people find employment.  Annually, more than 1,600 individuals are served and 12,000 clinic visits are provided.  .

Depaul USA is working to end homelessness in 8 cities around the U.S. through a variety of programs including temporary and permanent housing and day centers.  Every weekday in Macon, an average of 80 homeless men and women walk through the doors of Daybreak to access meals, hygiene services, and case management.
