Stratford Academy hosts its seventh annual Celebrating ART from Oct. 19-22. Celebrating ART is a four-day event celebrating the visual arts in the Middle Georgia community and was a 2020 recipient of the Macon Arts Alliance Cultural Arts Award.

It kicks off on Oct. 18 with the Arty Party Preview Celebration. This ain’t our first rodeo! This “ranch chic” themed event (think Yellowstone) will be held outdoors on the Stratford campus. Guests dress in denim and boots and enjoy live music by Shane Bridges, catering and bar by Fountain of Juice, celebrity bartenders, glassblowing demonstrations by Hot Glass Academy, and receive a “pick of the patch” pass to shop first in the Glass Pumpkin Patch and Pop-Up Shop. Giddy up, cowboys and cowgirls! Tickets are $40/each and can be purchased online at www.celebratingartmacon.com.

On Oct. 19, Celebrating ART opens to the public and features our Glass Pumpkin Patch sponsored by Butler Auto Group. Over 1,000 hand blown glass pumpkins made by glassblowers from across the southeast will be on display and available for purchase. Come early to shop for the best selection. There is no admission cost to visit the Glass Pumpkin Patch. Pumpkin prices range from $20 to $200.
