New Captain to be Promoted in Fire Department Ceremony

The Macon-Bibb County Fire Department is proud to announce a promotion ceremony for Lieutenant Alonzo Person. He will be officially promoted to Captain in a small ceremony at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 20. It’s happening at the Special Operations Room at the Fire Administration Building (1191 First Street).
Media members are invited to come speak to the new Captain and learn about what this promotion means for the whole department, and community.
