The Macon Arts Alliance Cultural awards were held on Thursday, October 27 and honored Chris Abbott, the Macon Transit Authority, Bob Mavity, Dsto Moore, and Amy Schwartz Moretti. 

The annual Macon Arts Alliance Cultural Awards recognize individuals, organizations, and businesses who have made significant contributions to the cultural life of Central Georgia through their work or philanthropic efforts. 

'It is always a pleasure to learn about the good work others are doing in the community to strengthen our cultural fabric.' said Julie Wilkerson, executive director of Macon Arts Alliance. 'We are pleased to be able to honor them at our annual Cultural Awards'. 

This year's awards also remembered Steven Fulbright, Past President of the Macon Arts Alliance Board of Directors and a 2019 Cultural Award recipient. Fulbright passed away in August after a brief illness.
