Macon Area Habitat for Humanity Hosts a Free ReStore Community Day
Wednesday, June 1st, 2022
To kick off the summer, Macon Area Habitat for Humanity is hosting a ReStore Community Day! The ReStore has been a part of the local community for over a decade and we want to say thank you to our customers, donors, and volunteers for supporting not only the ReStore but Macon Habitat’s mission. The money that is raised in the ReStore goes directly back into Macon Habitat’s mission to help provide homeownership opportunities for families in Macon-Bibb County.
Join Macon Habitat on Friday, June 3rd; 9am-2pm at 690 Holt Avenue for our ReStore Community Day. “We have an amazing customer base and the ReStore Community Day gives us an opportunity to thank them for all that they have done for us,” says Kenneth Varner, ReStore Manager for Macon Area Habitat for Humanity.
On Friday, early-bird shopping starts at 9am then at 10am the festivities will begin. In addition to ReStore sales and prizes that you won't want to miss; there will be a DJ, popsicles, pizza, and fun kids' activities! Winners of the Macon Habitat coloring contest will also be announced at the event. More information about the coloring contest and the event can be found at maconhabitat.org/community day.
