Celebrate National Trails Day in Macon on Saturday
Friday, June 3rd, 2022
National Trails Day is an annual event hosted by the American Hiking Society that encourages support of our nation’s public trails. Whether it be hiking Browns Mound, floating down the Ocmulgee River, reflecting in Riverside Cemetery, walking at Amerson River Park, or biking at the Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park, trails are an important part of Macon’s community and have a positive impact on mental and physical health.
Bike Walk Macon and NewTown Macon have teamed up to encourage Maconites to support equitable
access to Macon’s iconic greenspaces on this day.
