Whether you were looking for a new job or to bulk up your staff, Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia was there for you. On Wednesday morning, the non-profit giant, with support from Premier Staffing and Morrison Healthcare, hosted the Macon Spring 2022 Career fair, where employers and job seekers alike were able to meet up and connect.

Goodwill Director of Career Services, Carlye Thompson, says that the fair was an overall success. There was one moment that stood out to her, in particular.

"We did have a great story, this morning, of a person who was offered a position on the spot, so we did have one (person) hired immediately," she said. Thompson went on to to share her enthusiasm for the near future of connections made at the Anderson Conference Center by adding, "We've heard of great conversations that people are having and hopefully we'll hear some more success stories for the next coming days and weeks for the job seekers who visited us today."
