Macon Volunteer Clinic Hosts Walk-In May Enrollment Events

Macon Volunteer Clinic is hosting two walk-in patient enrollment events, 9:00 am to 11:30 am, on Friday May 20 and Tuesday May 24, at 376 Rogers Avenue. All new patients enrolled at either of these events will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Big Lots gift card.
MVC’s services are at no cost to Bibb and Twiggs county residents who qualify. Eligibility criteria are: (1) ages 18-64; (2) earn no more than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level; (3) be a resident of either county; (4) have no medical insurance, and (5) be actively working in some capacity.
To be confirmed as eligible and scheduled for a first appointment, individuals should bring: photo ID and social security card; employer letter stating they work and are not enrolled in the employer health plan; 2 most recent payroll slips; 2 pieces of mail to confirm residency; and 2021 tax return. Self-employed individuals may bring a profit & loss statement and a schedule C.
A medical home to eligible patients, Macon Volunteer Clinic offers free primary care, dental care, non-narcotic prescription medication assistance, cancer screenings, gynecology, dermatology, orthopedics, neurology, laboratory analyses, x-rays and other diagnostic services and mental health counseling.
Located on the corner of Ingleside and Rogers, Macon Volunteer Clinic was established in 2003 and is powered by philanthropy and volunteer providers. Its purpose is to foster a community where all working adults, regardless of insurance or ability to pay, can lead healthy and productive lives.
