Macon Area Habitat for Humanity Celebrates with Two New Habitat Families

Macon Area Habitat for Humanity will celebrate the dedication of two new homes at 578 Carmen Place, located in Lynmore Estates, on Wednesday, May 11th at 10:00 am. Macon Habitat and the community will join with the new homeowners, the Garey and Tolbert families, to dedicate their new homes and thank the many partners that helped with construction. All are welcome to join Macon Habitat to witness the heart of our work and congratulate our newest homeowners!

“The global pandemic highlighted the need for affordable homeownership opportunities, and we are so grateful for our community partners who helped fund and build these two new homes. There is nothing like celebrating the achievement of the dream of homeownership with our newest Habitat families,” said Ivey Hall, Macon Area Habitat for Humanity Executive Director. 

Building a Habitat home is not possible without the hard work and dedication of our future Habitat homeowners, volunteers, and community partners.
