The Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce honored the Leadership Baldwin Class of 2022 with a graduation celebration on Tuesday, April 26th the Inn on North Jefferson.

Over the course of the 8-month program, the 17 participants attended one class per month. The classes highlighted various parts of the community from higher education to healthcare to economic development to public safety. The goal of the program is to develop and foster the participants’ leadership skills, broaden their knowledge of the community as well as create networking opportunities with peers, alumni and community leaders. This class is a talented group of outstanding and motivated individuals that have emerged themselves into every aspect of our community and, upon graduation, are looking for ways to help shape the community’s future.

In addition, this Leadership Baldwin class was the first one to work with a local non-profit to complete a class project as a way to give back to our community, while simultaneously working on team-building and leadership skills. This year, the class partnered with Young Life Greater Milledgeville and assisted in providing benches for students’ use at Baldwin High School. Qarbon Aerospace also generously donated to help fund this project.
