On Thursday, March 10 Mayor Lester Miller, departments, and partners will hold a news conference to announce results of the first year of the Clean Streets Matter campaign and to officially open the first Convenience Center.  

The event will take place at the new Convenience Center (1010 11th Street) at 2:00 p.m. During the event, Public Works will give the results of the Tire Amnesty Day on December 12 and Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful (KMBB) will announce a year’s worth of litter and debris cleanups and the next County-Wide Cleanup date. 

“This is a time to celebrate what we accomplished together to clean up our neighborhoods and to open a new facility that will make getting rid of debris, furniture, and other items much easier for people, ,” says Mayor Miller. “We have a lot to be proud of as a team. Together we are working towards a cleaner, safer, and better Macon-Bibb.”
