Central Georgia Cancer Care Continues to Expand Care Team

Central Georgia Cancer Care, the longest established, most tenured hematology/oncology practice in Central Georgia, is thrilled to continue growing their dedicated team. Melissa Diehl, FNP-C joins the practice as Nurse Practitioner, Mallory Booth, PA-C as Physician Assistant and Angela Lintz, RN BSN MBA as Clinical Nurse Director. 

Melissa Diehl, FNP-C is excited to continue serving her hometown, a family nurse practitioner bringing over five years of emergency, urgent care, operating room and labor and delivery nursing care to Central Georgia Cancer Care. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Georgia College & State University and began her career as Nurse Practitioner with Accordia Urgent Care and Family Practice, and Compassus Palliative Care here in Middle Georgia. Prior to that, she served Macon as a Registered Nurse for several years followed by a Labor and Delivery Nurse, where she traveled to different parts of the state. Melissa is excited to assist in the achievement of improved patient health outcomes in an environment which fosters growth and development. 

Mallory Booth, PA-C holds a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Georgia Regents University, where she graduated in 2014. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from The University of Georgia. Since 2014, she has served as PA-C for Birmingham Pain Center, providing care for patients in a chronic pain management setting. Mallory also worked for or several years at The Fritz Clinic in Homewood, Alabama where she provided compassionate and non-judgmental care for opioid dependent patients. Central Georgia Cancer Care is excited to have her knowledge, expertise and compassionate care close to home for those in Middle Georgia. 

Angela Lintz, RN BSN MBA joins the team as Clinical Nurse Director and is responsible for managing clinical initiatives, change management and goal setting at both clinic locations. Prior to joining Central Georgia Cancer Care, she worked as a Travel Nurse Leader and Consultant to acute care hospitals in the Eastern United States. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia College & State University. Originally from Macon, Georgia, she’s excited to help carry out the Central Georgia Cancer Care mission, “Passion for innovation. Compassion for your care.”
