Macon Volunteer Clinic Announces Five New Board Members

Macon Volunteer Clinic is pleased to announce the addition of five new members to its Board of Directors. The new members are Ethel Cullinan, Ph.D., retired President and CEO of the MedCen Foundation and Carlyle Place; Jonathan Martin, J.D., an attorney specializing in management-side labor and employment law; Susan Headley, President, Your Doctor’s Immediate Care; Elizabeth Schorr, Owner, Elizabeth Schorr & Co. Graphic Design; and Gary Bernstein, M.D., Chief Medical Officer at Piedmont Health Macon.
These five new board members join MVC’s existing board members who are Samer Othman, D.D.S., Chair, Steve Slade, Treasurer, Saralyn Hiley, Secretary, Carla Sims, Janet Tidwell, Ranna Munna, M.D., Ron Freeman, M.D., Justin Hollingsworth, J.D., Deanna Jones and Keri Jones.
Macon Volunteer Clinic was established in 2003 and is powered by philanthropy and volunteer providers. Its purpose is to foster a community where all working adults, regardless of insurance or ability to pay, can lead healthy and productive lives. To be eligible for its services – at no cost – patients must reside in Macon-Bibb County, work, be between 18-64 years of age, have no health insurance, and earn at or lower than 200% of the Federal Poverty Limits.
