Cox Names New Middle Georgia Market Vice President

Cox Communications announced today Caryn Frey as the new Market Vice President for Middle Georgia. Freybegan her career at Cox in San Diego, CA in 1999. In 2000, she joined Cox Enterprises as an Account Manager and later transitioned back to Cox Communications Customer Care department. In 2011, Frey moved to Atlanta, where she served as Senior Manager for Corporate Customer Care. Most recently she was a director on the corporate Field Operations team.
“Caryn brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her new role in Middle Georgia,” said Anthony Pope, Cox Senior Vice President and Southeast Region Manager. “She’ll be a valuable asset to our Middle Georgia market as our business continues to evolve and grow to deliver technologies to support smart homes and businesses of the future. She’s looking forward to working with local leaders as a trusted community partner.”
In her new role in Middle Georgia, Frey will oversee local operations, ensure cross-functional alignment among various work streams, and serve as a strong advocate and voice for Cox in the business and nonprofit community.

Frey is a graduate of Texas State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications. She and her husband, Greg, have been married for 23 years, have a 20-year-old daughter, Hannah, and have two small rescue pups, Taxi and Eddie. During her downtime, she enjoys spending time exploring the outdoors, listening to and discovering new music, and traveling to new places.
