Third Year of the Merrie Christmas Project

Monday, December 13th, 2021

United Way of Central Georgia is spreading holiday joy through The Merrie Christmas Project for a third year. In the past two years hundreds of families benefited from the generous donations of local companies and individuals to make The Merrie Christmas Project a reality. Families in need are given the opportunity to come to area Walmart stores to meet with the United Way team and select Christmas presents for their families. This year The Merrie Christmas Project will add residents of the Brookdale Resource Center to the shopper’s list. Beginning this Friday, December 10th at 9 am, families will meet United Way team members and volunteers at Walmart on Harrison Road for the 2021 The Merrie Christmas Project shopping event.

United Way of Central Georgia and the Kaplan family would like to thank the local community for their generous support of The Merrie Christmas Project.
