The Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is thrilled to announce that it has chosen Kara Lassiter as Chamber’s next President and CEO. 

For more than six years, Kara has served as the Chamber’s dynamic and talented Membership Development Director. During her time, she has built strong relationships with Chamber members, community stakeholders and local citizens, served the business community’s needs, and spearheaded exciting, new initiatives such as Leadership and Youth Leadership Baldwin programs.  

2021 Chamber Chair of the Board, Kyle Hitchcock, stated, “We couldn’t be more excited to have Kara lead our amazing staff. Her experience, skills, and dedication are a perfect match for our needs now and into the future.”

Lassiter adds, “I am honored to have been selected to lead such an outstanding organization of staff, volunteers and member businesses. Milledgeville has become my family and I’s home over the past several years and I’m excited to be able to continue to serve and work for this amazing community.”
