From Piggly Wiggly to Packing Products: Bibb Zoning Board Approves Changes to Old Grocery Store

Renovations on two historic downtown properties cleared the Macon-Bibb County Planning and Zoning Commission hearing Monday, plus commissioners will allow the convenience store moratorium to expire.
Once again, limitations of the outdated zoning codes surfaced in agenda items as commissioners approved a manufacturer in an old Piggly Wiggly shopping center and contemplated why there is a maximum limit of two carriers on a cell tower.
