The Georgia Beef Board, in conjunction with Visit Macon, announced Macon Beer Company as the winning restaurant of the 2021 Macon Burger Week in which patrons selected their “High on the Hog” burger as their favorite with over 1,100 votes.

This past week, restaurants welcomed thousands of guests over the seven days and those guests voted for their favorite to decide which restaurant was crowned the People’s Choice Champion of Macon Burger Week 2021. In addition, two new awards were created for Macon Burger Week this year. The Angry Cow from Cashman’s Pub was awarded the Cleverly Created Award, which recognized the restaurant with the most creative and unique entry and was judged by beef producers from around the state. The Most Beef Sales award will go to the restaurant who sells the most beef by the pound because Beef. It's What's For Dinner. This award will be announced later when sales data has been collected.

The other participating restaurants this year were: Bearfoot Tavern, Bianca’s Grill, Buffalo’s Café, Fatty’s Pizza, Felicia’s Cake Factory, Grey Goose Player’s Club, Lazy Susan, Ocmulgee Brewpub, Parish on Cherry, Satterfield’s Barbeque, Tommy’s Bakery, Tzango Cocina and Yollah Social Garden and Kitchen.

Participants of Macon Burger Week can mail in their passports by November 20th with 5 or more stamps to the Georgia Beef Board to win prizes.
