Macon - Join us for the sixth annual Celebrating ART from October 20-23 from 9 to 4 daily located at Stratford Academy in Macon. This year’s celebration features everyone’s favorite events, including the Arty Party Preview Celebration, the Glass Pumpkin Patch sponsored by Butler Automotive Group, a Pop-Up Shop and Gallery Marketplace showcasing artists and artisan-inspired gifts, on-site glassblowing workshops, and our Artistically Speaking Lunch and Learn featuring Macon’s own, Canaan Marshall, celebrity floral designer.

In the Glass Pumpkin Patch, visitors will find over 1,000 handblown, glass pumpkins on display in our fall-themed pumpkin patch. These one-of-a-kind creations are handcrafted by a dozen glassblowers from across the southeast. Professional glassblower, John Shoemaker of Hot Glass Academy, is also on-site doing glassblowing workshops. The Pop-Up Shop and Gallery Marketplace are curated with original artwork and gifts from your favorite local retailers and artists. Tickets for our Arty Party Preview Celebration, Artistically Speaking Lunch and Learn, and glassblowing workshops may be purchased online at www.celebratingartmacon.com. There is no charge to visit the Glass Pumpkin Patch or Marketplace.

Celebrating ART is a community event hosted by Stratford Academy in partnership with Macon Arts Alliance, Mercer University, Middle Georgia State University, the Museum of Arts and Sciences, and Wesleyan College. There are free and ticketed events. All events are held at Stratford Academy (6010 Peake Road, Macon). Visit www.celebratingartmacon.com to learn more.
