Bethanie Kitchens, a paraprofessional at Vineville Academy of the Arts, is heading off to join the Air Force. Her last day working at the school is Friday, August 20, before boot camp begins on August 30. To recognize her service, the students, faculty and staff will be gathering outside the school to sing songs and display banners in her honor at the flag pole at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. The school is located at 2260 Vineville Ave., and members of the media are invited to attend.
