On Thursday, August 19, the Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce and the Leadership Baldwin Committee held a meet and greet for the Leadership Baldwin alumni to welcome and network with the new Leadership Baldwin Class. The event was held from 5:30- 7:00 p.m. at Visit Milledgeville’s beautiful office. 

The Leadership Baldwin Class of 2022 is the 18^th class, and when they graduate in April 2022, they will join the 200+ alumni of this program. This class is a talented, diverse group of motivated individuals that are ready to emerge themselves into every aspect of our community. In addition to visiting and learning about various sectors of our community throughout the 8-month program, this class also will collaborate with a local, non-profit organization to complete a project, which will contribute to the mission of the partner and make a measurable difference for the nonprofit and its beneficiaries.

Leadership Baldwin was created out of the Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce in 1981 “as a way to cultivate the talents and knowledge of civic-minded citizens who aspire to participate in shaping the future of their community.” It provides those within the group valuable training and learning experiences that may be used to help make the local community a better and brighter place
